kind of on the fence about this. the opening riff reminds me of something a seventh grader might come up upon getting a new guitar for christmas (because, trust me, i’ve been there), which is to say, utterly banal and phoned-in yet quite pleased with itself. but the vocals come in and i have to say i become quite charmed by them. she’s definitely a unique talent and i’m looking forward to her graduating middle school and making some really transcendent shit.
