Just got back from Quantic’s gig in Leeds with his band from NY. Outrageously good. His discography speaks for itself. The band he was playing with was class. I need to find out who was on keys because he was immense. Holland played guitar, accordion and was on a moog. Drums, trumpet and a sax player who was great on flute too. I’ve been a fawning fan since forever but haven’t seen him live since about 04 when he was playing with QSO and had Alice Russell singing with him (oh for that hook up to happen again).
Have I effused enough? I don’t think they’ve any more UK dates, but if you get the chance, go see them. Stonking stuff
