I feel this, but also don’t see how his career hasn’t been deaded or affected by his ‘gassed like…’ bar in T N biscuits, pretty horrific and wouldn’t be accepted in any other context…so why has this guy got the free pass?

I rate him innit. I found out about him last year February on Circadian Rhythms’s NTS show but only started listening to him recently.

@barevernacular that went over my head the first time, when I caught it I was like did he really say that? :worried: not even Genius has that lyric cited + analyzed lol.

I don’t understand how people rate this track and its lyrical reduction and objectification of women, as in a woman is there to take a boys virginity and make him and a man and to have children, also the lyric quoted about how he wants a “wife that’s gracious”. Pretty juvenile stuff all in all, but seemingly some think it is an enlightened and gentle view of women. Bizarre.
