Rate Your Music users?

I was wondering if anyone else here uses the website Rate Your Music…
If you do, what do you think about it? How do you mainly use it?

For those who don’t know RYMs a website (https://rateyourmusic.com) with a huge musical database (user generated content) in which you can rate, review, tag and catalog any kind of release, being it an album/ep/single/dj mix/etc… They also have algorithms that make some sorts of charts based on a weighted average of releases ratings.
It is also a very powerful thing to discover obscure music.

In the last few years I always felt like I needed something to help me catalog (and not forget) the music I listened to, so when I found out about it (last October) I was pretty amazed.

ive been on it since '14 and have been notorious among /mu/esque circles for being “the evil crazy sjw antifa tranny” and not giving a shit about their reactionary authortarian views of music crit. and im proud of it :blush: :fu:
but yeah some of the best friends i ever meet where from there, and i still love it. :gift_heart: i have autism too so like, digitally cataloging releases and being able to filter it by many things works for me well as a dj too :slight_smile:
