Really looking forward to dig deeper into these clips. It’s somewhat reminiscent of Great Lengths (so far) – even has a piano track in the middle! – but I ain’t complaining.

It’s out now and I’ve been really enjoying it this morning, especially the track “Cutting Tone”.

This album really feels like a tapestry of influences to me, but it all hangs together really well as it’s own thing. I’m hearing breakbeats, garage, house, techno and big swampy bass. Similarly to the Skee Mask album, this feels like it would rip on the dancefloor but it’s a great and cohesive home listening experience as well. Love the way the bassline purrs on “Mind Rain”.
