Loving all of an artists output

#1

Currently i’m thinking of DJ Koze as a music artist. He’s really good at his craft and can make some incredible tracks, some that are what I consider the best in electronic music overall. But then he releases things that I can not vibe with at all. Same goes for Peder Mennerfelt, some tracks are close to perfection, especially his remixes yet elsewhere it’s like listening to your neighbour mowing his lawn at 4am. Is there any artists you can confidently say you vibe with all their output? If their output is small, higher the chances I guess. Drunk thread.

Edit: Rezzett maybe for me

honestly frank ocean is the only artist that comes to mind…

also it really really depends if i do or dont include situations where i’m like “okay, i see why you made this song, and its good but not great…” cus so many artists make really good songs but some just have to be throwaways that shouldnt have released n things like that.

Laurel Halo, some stuff she releases takes a bit longer to get into but eventually i end up liking/loving everything. i do think this is rare, personally, as i’m a contrary bugger
edit: and i include her very early stuff in this which has been a little bit forgotten

I’m not sure it’s possible for an artist to have a flawless discography. that said, Tim Hecker or Villalobos get pretty close in my book.

edit: also, Shellac.

I haven’t to ever song made by these artists, but Animal Collective, Young Fathers, Bjork, Kanye West, Arca, FKA Twigs, Radiohead, Flying Lotus, and Death Grips all have albums that even if I don’t like one song as much as the other, they’re still interesting pieces that leave a mark on me because of their originality.

Every Prefuse 73 album is the best album of Prefuse 73.

That’s what I thought when I was into it. Now I slightly moved on, but every product of him is still solid.

I’ve never not loved a Will Holland (Quantic) release.

And I know that they’re well in the pop arena now, but Daft Punk are pretty flawless to my ears.

Clint Mansell pretty much always pushes my buttons too.
