For the night part of Doku.Tech 2018 we are bringing you one the most forward thinking European nights - Progress Bar from Amsterdam! Progress Bar aims to represent radical equality, communality and hopefulness. It’s a growing community of artists, academics and activists who occupy clubs for a better politics. When confronted with the world today – institutional inequality, neofascism, platform capitalism, austerity and a dying planet – being happy becomes a political act. Progress Bar supports radical club cultures that believe resistance is necessary in order to change the world.
To its Prishtina edition Progress Bar is bringing NYC’s “deliciously confrontational” LSDXOXO whose Whorecore was voted one of FACT Mag’s 50 Best Albums of the Year, Toronto’s break out star and Mikki Blanko’s tour DJ Bambii, South London’s poet, producer, provocateur and Massive Attack colaborator James Massiah, our old friend Likwuid and PB’s founder and resident DJ Juha.
