That album art is absolutely incredible but personally Iā€™m just hoping that itā€™s going to be better than Bottomless Pit. For me that album marked the point where I kind of stopped caring for them, since a lot of it was just messy noise. I mean, itā€™s very much a DG move of them to do that and perhaps reminds me of Tokyo Anal Dynamite by The Gerogerigegege butā€¦I donā€™t know. Will listen to that new track later but atm I think Iā€™m mostly after more Zach Hill solo stuff or The I.L.Y.'s.

If that new track is anything to go by, this might be a return to the sound of The Money Store, which remains my favourite DG album. Tentatively very excited. Agree with @avery, they lost me a bit with Bottomless Pit.

Iā€™m a big fan of the N****s on the Moon/The Powers that B Album. Bottomless Pit wasnā€™t that much for me, had some decent tracks on it.
Streaky is almost to accessible for me, but i hope that there will be some cool bangers on it.

Streaky is definitely one of DGā€™s more laidback and accessible tracks, but thereā€™s still this kinda weird psychedelic vibe to it that I really dig. Iā€™m just really curious as to the direction they go in with this new record. On Bottomless Pit, I felt like it was Death Grips just refining sounds theyā€™ve already established in the past but proving why they are the best at what they do. But I am hoping we approach some new sonic territory on this album. Either way, Iā€™m hyped and canā€™t wait.

loving the new album title, deff tapping into the zeitgesit. streaky was an odd single tho, esp with the promo with lucas abela, i was expecting some noise wall shit. but nevertheless excited.

i thought bottomless pit was kinda lopsided tbh. first 5 songs flow perfectly then it just stops getting interesting.
but
warping is a perfect song.

Faintly excited for this album even though the tracks havenā€™t gotten me going so far. I feel like nothing will be the same as their 2012-2013 run, legendary it was.

same, always feel a pang of excitement about death grips but iā€™m not sure if iā€™m being played by the ā€œmystiqueā€.

ā€œturned offā€ was their last seriously incredible tune

I finally had a listen to the tracks and I donā€™t know Iā€™m still not really feeling it at allā€¦Maybe itll go better in its full form.

yeah not feeling these either :frowning: and this is coming from someone who thinks bottomless pit is one of the best from them! still looking forward to taking in the full album though. also trying to remind myself of all the dg projects i didnā€™t ā€˜feelā€™ at first and then came around to later lol
