Classical Curves is literally one of my Top 10 albums. There’s just something in the entire aesthetic package of it that just sits so well with me. I’ve been disappointed that he’s moved away from that sound to something obviously more meaningful and expressive to him, but I’ll always have Classical Curves.

That whole early Night Slugs era really defined a lot of my current music tastes even if a lot of those early musicians moved away from that sound quite a lot (Egyptrixx) but I’m still SO HYPED for the upcoming Girl Unit LP because, really, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jbc-319VYlw

By the way, what is that defines “club music” ? I guess its linked to night slugs works but It has to be one of the genres with most confusing and imprecise names hah

Honestly some months ago if somebody told me he likes “club music” id have thought of david guetta or somthing

club music can be anything but when I think of pure club music, I think of Baltimore Club/Jersey Club/Philly Club and also their predecessors like house/techno/miami bass/ghettotech/new york house a lot of the early shit
