This is fantastic. Was a bit nervous about it being too much DOOF DOOF DOOF, and despite the fact that it is very much DOOF DOOF DOOF it still manages to be versatile within that framework. An absolute winner as far as I’m concerned, and by far his most engaging and complete studio project to date.

Maybe I’m just in a very sour mood today but I’m definitely feeling this.

Tend to find a lot of Blawan’s stuff (outside of the undeniable HITS) a bit much but this album hits the sweet (sore?) spot just right.

Always love the little fills and flourishes of percussion he peppers around his tracks just to remind you that he used to be a drummer in a past life… same with Joe.
