I still need to check this out. Since I do most of my listening at work (where my job is to read stuff) and on the train (when I read books) I’ve got out of the habit of listening to rap/rnb. So I’m massively behind on pretty much everything that’s happened in those spheres lately.

some good stuff in here, don’t think I would’ve heard of Smerz otherwise, instantly liking this album. other good ones scattered about too, need to give that Gabor Lazar a full listen :slight_smile:

Changed The Game by Social Misfits easily my favourite track of the last 6 months.
All the Rosin Murphy Releases with Maurice Fulton.
Feel the Same DJ Koze edit of Radio Slave, reminds me of HOw’s your evening so far.
The track Tiga and Kolsh put out together.
Up Deh by Danny T & Tradesman with Mark Iration (which is shaking the foundations of every house in my street this last week or so).

Still not listened to Autechre yet. Need to get myself in the right frame of mind and sit down to listen to it properly. Loads of other stuff I enjoyed too. Johnny Jewel’s Digital Rain and Themes for Television. Skream’s Fabric Live. Age of - OPN. Jon Hopkns singularity. Rudeboy by Gentleman’s Dub Club & The Nextmen (this will probably make the top five after some more listens)

That Roisin Murphy singles series is amazing so far and I feel like it’s flying under the radar given how good it is. Didn’t even realise the new one had come out until the other day.

Also: the new Daphne & Celeste was certainly an interesting thing, but I found it a bit disappointing; most of the tracks didn’t quite reach up to how fantastic You & I Alone was.

She’s on a Dj Koze track as well which I’ve not heard yet. Always loved her voice going all the way back to Moloko. Definately deserves more attention, not even sure how I caught it.
